Often times, the wedding schedule is so packed that couples are constantly rushing from point to point during the wedding day. From the make up to the gate-crashing to the ceremony, then rehearsal, dress change and so forth. During the dinner, you rush from table to table without knowing the guests or having the time to even speak to your friends. Time flies and before you know it, it is time to thank the guests and retreat to the bridal suite.
A wedding day should be one of those days that is slow enough to soak in the little details that you’ve been obsessing over for the past 9 months yet exciting and joyous, allowing you to drink, laugh, chit chat and connect with your guests. Savour the food, drink up the moments and just leave the planners and coordinators to worry about the running of the show.
The wedding of Eu-Wing and Bee Fong is a perfect reflection of that laissez-faire approach, as evident from these beautiful photos captured by Dennis Yap Photography. With the both of them based in the UK and their busy schedule as doctors, we only met the bride once during the planning period and worked alongside Bee Fong’s sister who helped coordinate everything from Penang. The wedding day programme was so free and easy that even the bridal party had time to squeeze in a little frolicking in the pool in between the rehearsal and make up. They are the nicest couple we have ever worked with that even the cloudy weather held up for them till the very moment everyone moved indoors for the dinner reception.
