Lovers’ Concerto

These beautiful wedding photos were taken by Red Sense.

The strength of the couple’s love for each other and their Christian faith were portrayed in the most gentle form of beauty with blooms of ivory Roses and shades of green Hydrangeas and Eustomas at this garden wedding. If you know the lyrics to Kelly Chen’s version of Lover’s Concerto, you will know just how apt the song was for the wedding procession within Cyberview Lodge’s beautiful garden setting.

Customised unity candle paired with lace table cloth along with white petal baskets with lace and olive green ribbons complemented the natural greenery. Despite the dark clouds hovering just over the tall coconut trees that make up the picture perfect backdrop, the wedding couple insisted on staying outdoor and foregoing the backup plans which The Peak Xperience had arranged.

“If it rains, we’ll just dance in the rain!” lamented the groom’s uncle.

The air was cool and breezy with just a weak ray of sunshine. Soft sentimental tunes from the strokes of guitar strings filled the atmosphere with a serene calmness. The entire ceremony was so sweet that it even made the planners teared!

As soon as the bouquet was tossed and the lucky lady caught it with a gleeful laughter, the team quickly ushered all the guests to the ballroom foyer and ensured that the hotel’s signature mocktail, the “Blushing Bride”, were ready to be served.

In his note, the groom said, “2pm was the first weather call, followed by 4pm, the final weather call. I kept praying, believing and gripping on to these 2 verses; Mark 11:22-24 ‘Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, go throw yourself into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart but believes in that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.’ God has been very faithful indeed. He had held the rain back, the blessing ceremony had ran smoothly with the original plan, and as soon as we finish the bridal recession and bouquet toss, it started to rain! God’s timing was so precise, that he had held back the rain for us to finish the entire blessing ceremony.”

The garden-themed wedding ceremony was carried through to the indoor dinner reception.  The dinner reception actually started earlier than the scheduled time!

Each table was numbered with virtues and verses which The Peak Xperience researched from the  Bible. Bridesmaids marched in with white decorated lanterns that were then placed on the main table. Dennis Lau and Jimmy Sax of Mosaic Music Events kicked off the evening with a special showcase performance.

Peak Xperience’s Favourite Priceless Moment: When the groom serenaded his bride with a song by Ronan Keating, “This I Promise You”. A moving speech by the groom’s father, the late Senator Dato’ Lee and the bride’s thank you speech.
