Our involvement in the wedding of John and Mary started with a twist of fate and faith. Just 3 weeks before their big day, the couple approached our planner Bernard, seeking guidance on the decor after hitting a planning roadblock. Thanks to Ee Hong Photography for recommending us to John and Mary. With time ticking away, our team jumped into action, determined to craft a celebration as enchanting as their love story. The familiarity of the stunning Sentul Pavilion, a glasshouse venue we had the privilege of working on multiple times, gave us the confidence to pull this off on a tight schedule. Our scope of work for this wedding were wedding styling, decoration, sound, lights and audio visual.
Designing the ideal ambience was both a challenge and a joy. Mary envisioned a brown floral palette, but we gently steered her away from the muted tones, concerned it might dull the romantic atmosphere she desired. Furthermore, working with fresh flowers would present another layer of complexity, as naturally brown flowers are rare so we either work with artificial flowers or preserved/dried flowers OR… change the direction. Hence, we created a design deck that maintained her love for warm hues while working with 80% fresh flowers and 20% artificial blooms. The decor was finalised just 16 days before the wedding, and production began immediately. Every detail, from the lush floral arrangements to the intricate setup, was a labour of love.
Looking back, we are humbled to have been part of their story. John and Mary’s wedding wasn’t just a celebration of their love but a beautiful reminder of what can be achieved with determination, creativity, and teamwork. This wedding is also featured at Bridepay.com
