When we think of a fairytale, we think of princesses and princes, magical castles and kingdoms. But what if the fairytale you dreamt of happened in real life in a more modern and romantic way than you could have ever imagined? That’s where we find this lovely couple who hosted their modern fairytale wedding at the St Regis Langkawi, surrounded by those who love them the most, celebrating their unique love story. The theme for this wedding was centered around their wedding hashtag #EMchantedlove, though it was not a ‘literal’ translation of a fairytale wedding. Rather, it was an evening full of enchantment and wonder that felt like a dream come true. Bringing true to the couple’s love for romanticism and belief and their fairytale love.
THE AFTERPARTY
Our bride thoughtfully curated Disney tote bags for every guest who attended her special day filled with travel Essentials, including hangover pills, mouthwash, and other things to help remedy the night before – a thoughtful and useful wedding favor that guests gladly accepted!
We built game stations inspired by some of her favourite Disney characters from Toy Story and Beauty and the Beast. Dramatic lighting, a live band and a professional DJ kept the party going all night long as guests tapped into their inner Disney-loving child and jammed out to their favorite tunes into the late morning hours.
As this incredible fairy tale love story is just getting to its beginning and the wedding is ending, we can’t help but think about how no detail was overlooked.
