For Kuan Meng and Gloria’s wedding reception, the design wasn’t built around a predetermined theme. Instead, it was shaped by the people at the heart of the celebration.
As a creative herself, Gloria knew exactly what she didn’t want. Traditional floral-heavy styling never resonated with her. Instead, she was drawn to thoughtful details, beautiful materials, and spaces that felt quietly intentional.
Drawing inspiration from the Chinese legend of the red thread of fate, the ceremony decor was reinterpreted as flowing crimson fabric, gently weaving its way through the ceremony front. Softly draped with suspended vertical florals, it became more than just décor. It represented two lives finding one another and two families coming together.
At the afterparty, we had DJ @inquisitive to kick off the night. Free flow of Don Julio, baijiu, late night Indomee goreng with sunny side up and a dance floor that stayed full till the end. We couldn’t have asked for a more epic end to Kuan Meng and Gloria’s wedding celebration!
